Thai Street Food, Cooked Like Home.

Saranrom means to be cool, happy, and joyful — the same feeling Chef Nueng grew up with in Bangkok's old market district, now served family-style in the heart of Little Bangkok, NYC.

Our Story

From Bangkok's Old Market to Broadway, Elmhurst

Chef Nueng grew up in Phra Nakhon — Bangkok's original district and old market — where he absorbed decades of traditional Thai street-food technique before bringing his own recipes to New York City. Saranrom isn't fine dining. It's the food of Thai grandmothers, night markets, and family kitchens, cooked with the same care Chef Nueng learned as a boy.

Every dish on our menu pulls from a different region of Thailand — not just the familiar central-Thai flavors, but the herb-forward Isan salads, the northern curries, and the street-cart classics that don't usually make it onto NYC menus.
